Public transport

From the airport, take the white DAMRI bus (approx. 23,000 rupiah) to the centre of Padang (Pasar Raya). From here, take a blue angkot (mini bus) in the direction of Teluk Kabung (approx. 10,000 rupiah) and stop at the terminus.

At Teluk Kabung you can take an ojek (moto taxi) and ask to be dropped at Ricky’s Beach House (they will know!) This should cost no more than 50,000 rupiah. You can also take a taxi from the Padang airport to Teluk Kabung and then an ojek.

Be aware that the road from Teluk Kabung to our village is very bumpy and therefore many taxi drivers may be reluctant to take you all the way to the village.
